Biography
Spencer Reece is an award-winning American poet and an ordained priest. His influences include T. S. Eliot and his work has been compared to that of Gerard Manley Hopkins. His poem “The Clerk's Tale,” which is based on his years working at a clothing store in Minneapolis, was adapted into a short film by James Franco. In 2015, his book The Road to Emmaus was on the international shortlist for The Griffin Prize For Excellence In Poetry.
